World Ag Expo and E.M. Tharp, Inc. have teamed up for the sixth year to provide the “We Believe in Growing” scholarship, created to support agricultural education. High school seniors from Madera, Fresno, Tulare, Kings and Kern counties are encouraged to apply by January 20, 2012 to be considered. Two $10,000 scholarships will be awarded to students who attend a four-year university to major in an agricultural field. The scholarships will be disbursed over four years at $2,500 per year...

WAE Names Progressive Dairyman as Official Dairy Publication
Progressive Dairyman has been selected as the official dairy publication of World Ag Expo 2012. Not only will the magazine be distributed at World Ag Expo, but dairy producers from across the country will begin receiving producer focused information in November to help them plan their visit to World Ag Expo.

Toyota Launches Program to Benefit FFA Chapters Statewide
For the fourth year, Toyota will donate a new Tundra to World Ag Expo’s FFA Toyota Tundra Giveaway. Toyota and California FFA chapters are working together with World Ag Expo to support FFA programs in schools throughout California. Tickets are available from FFA members for a suggested donation of $5.
