Results are in for World Ag Expo Forage Challenge

A total of $18,000 in prizes was awarded today to winners of the 2012 World Ag Expo Forage Challenge, presented by Mycogen Seeds. Finalists were chosen from 77 entries from nine western states.

The competition challenged farmers to enter the best of what they grow to see who produced the highest-quality forage in the West. Samples of the finalists’ entries will be on display in World Ag Expo’s New Products and Forage Challenge Center on T Street and Expo Lane during the Expo.

Beef and Livestock Pavilion Brings Live Demonstrations and Competition to World Ag Expo

With less than one week left before World Ag Expo begins, the beef and livestock pavilion is buzzing with activity in preparation for the world’s largest annual agricultural exposition. Pavilion D, which is home to beef and livestock exhibitors, seminars, live cattle demonstrations and new for this year, a ranching and livestock competition, is the place to be to see the latest advances in the beef and livestock industries.

“We Believe in Growing” Scholarship to be Awarded at World Ag Expo Media Day

The World Ag Expo and E.M. Tharp Inc. “We Believe in Growing” scholarship winners were announced today and will be presented with their awards during World Ag Expo’s Media Day on February 13, 2012. The graduating seniors, Miranda Medrano of Wasco, and Jace Tarbell of Visalia, will each receive a $2,500 scholarship to be renewed up to four years, totaling $10,000 per student.

World Ag Expo Exhibitors Help Farmers Comply with Emissions Standards

In keeping with tradition, the latest in agricultural technology will be featured at the world’s largest annual agricultural exposition. Since 1968, World Ag Expo has been the place to exhibit the latest in cutting-edge agricultural technology and equipment.
