Results are in for the World Ag Expo’s Top-10 New Products competition. The winners will be showcased February 14-16, 2012 during the 45th annual World Ag Expo in Tulare, California.
“The Top-10 new products are a favorite “must-see” among World Ag Expo visitors,” said 2012 World Ag Expo chairman, Patty Colson. “Attendees should make sure to stop by the New Products center to view this year’s winners.”
A group of judges made up of farmers, ranchers and industry professionals selected the Top-10 New Products. The winners will be showcased inside the New Product Pavilion on Expo Lane and R Street.

President George W. Bush to Speak at Ag Warriors Gala During World Ag Expo
The International Agri-Center announced today that President George W. Bush will be the featured guest at the Ag Warriors Gala on February 15, 2012 during World Ag Expo in Tulare, California. The event will benefit returning veterans by placing them in long-term professions in the agriculture industry.

World Ag Expo Calls for Forage Challenge Entries
Growers of high quality forages will be rewarded with cash prizes in the 2012 World Ag Expo Forage Challenge, presented by Mycogen Seeds. The competition challenges farmers and ranchers in 11 western states to enter their best alfalfa hay, standard corn silage or brown midrib (BMR) corn silage to honor those who produce the highest-quality forages in the West. E.M. Tharp and WAE Announce “We Believe in Growing” Scholarship
World Ag Expo and E.M. Tharp, Inc. have teamed up for the sixth year to provide the “We Believe in Growing” scholarship, created to support agricultural education. High school seniors from Madera, Fresno, Tulare, Kings and Kern counties are encouraged to apply by January 20, 2012 to be considered. Two $10,000 scholarships will be awarded to students who attend a four-year university to major in an agricultural field. The scholarships will be disbursed over four years at $2,500 per year...

WAE Names Progressive Dairyman as Official Dairy Publication

Toyota Launches Program to Benefit FFA Chapters Statewide
For the fourth year, Toyota will donate a new Tundra to World Ag Expo’s FFA Toyota Tundra Giveaway. Toyota and California FFA chapters are working together with World Ag Expo to support FFA programs in schools throughout California. Tickets are available from FFA members for a suggested donation of $5.
