FFA leaves its mark on World Ag Expo

More than 2,000 FFA students descended upon the World Ag Expo show grounds today to participate in the FFA Assembly and create the first-ever expo Flash Mob.

The Assembly featured inspirational speaker and country music artist Michael Peterson sharing his life story encouraging students to develop a plan for their lives. His “Tag, You’re It” program also includes an interactive web site designed to help youth create a “blueprint for success” in their lives.

The FFA students then turned Median Street into a sea of blue jackets for the expo Flash Mob, complete with choreographed dance.  Watch the video on Facebook,  and "like" if you're not already following us.

The students then toured the show grounds to see the latest in ag technology and visit the Hilvers Career and Education Center, sponsored by agcareers.com, to visit with university representatives and learn about careers in agriculture.
